This is a very unique RV.  It is small and easy to drive, but has everything you could want in an RV (generator, toilet, shower, sleeps 4, kitchen, living area and much more!  It is built on a Chevy Astro chassis and has a gas v6 motor under the hood (with new belts, alternator, and battery) and an overdrive transmission to get you down the road. 

A good friend of mine owns an 87 Astro van.  He has over 300,000 miles on its original motor!  He still travels a lot in this van all over the United States.  With that being said, I'd say this little RV is just broke in!  His van still give him 20 mpg in town and 22 on the highway.  His van is small than this RV so the RV's mpg will be less.  I do not know the exact mpg this RV will give you but I do know it will be at least twice what a bigger coach would?  I also know driving conditions will effect the mpg. 

The exterior of this unit is  in fair to rough condition as pictured.  The paint is not perfect as pictured (it is blotchy, cracks and dull).  Tires have plenty of tread life left but have sidewall dryness (I'd replace them for a quiet, smooth ride they are small tires that are cheap to buy).

The interior of this unit is in avg. condition as pictured.  This unit has a nice layout and makes great use of space.  There is plenty of storage space in this unit.  Carpet and upholstery are in avg. condition, lots of spots.

All systems check out fine in this unit.  The roof air(s) that runs on electric if plugged into shore power or can run off electric the generator produces while traveling down the road is cold.  The fridge that runs off electric from shore power or generator as well as propane that is stored under coach in a tank is cold.  Plumbing and electric work fine as pictured. 

The Chevy V6 motor starts right up and has plenty of power.  

The automatic transmission with overdrive shifts smoothly as it should.  The brakes stop the coach on a dime.  

All used units have negatives, lets talk about this ones.  Paint is not perfect as pictured on exterior.  Leaked at one time and stained trim inside coach by rear window as pictured.  Dash a/c and fridge are not cold.  Needs exterior cover over H2o heater.

In summary, Little coach needs some tlc, but it is a very unique rv that is fuel efficient and easy to drive!  Nice little RV that is fully equipped!  Very hard to find ones like this (first I've seen in 14 years).  Neat little coach that can be used as is or imagine what you'd have after you've fixed it up!  Most of what it needs is cosmetic and should not cost that much to do, but will make a tremendous difference!!

I have done my very best to describe this unit to you as accurately as possible.  My intent with my listings is to mention, describe and picture everything negative. Take a good look at my listing and compare it to others.  It is obvious I spend a lot of time and I take great care.  I check and double check all major systems including the a/c’s, fridge, lights, faucets, generators, mechanical condition, etc.  If I were buying this unit I would need to know about the major systems.  My goal is to make the unit sound worse than it really is.  Most of my customers think the units they pick up are in better condition than they expected.

  No matter how hard I try there is a chance I will overlook something (positive or negative).  The few things I have overlooked in the past were small problems like a sticky latch on a basement compartment, a dirty basement compartment, a window latch that did not work, an electrical plug that did not work, etc.  On the other hand, one unit I sold had a brand new washer/dryer combo that was added in one of the pantries, that I overlooked!  Please consider the age of this unit and realize the possibility of small repairs. Please bid accordingly.   Please do not expect perfection.  Please also keep in mind that digital photography has come a long way!  Ususally the pictures of the units look better than they do in person (especially exterior).   Fading and imperfect striping does not show up well in pictures.  Please do not expect new.  Consider the age of the unit you are bidding on and realize it is used and not perfect.  Even brand new units are not perfect and they cost a lot more. 

If you win this unit, you and I (or an associate) will personally inspect this unit together to check our accuracy.  We will demo all systems for you and show you how they work if you are not familiar with.  You will not leave our lot unhappy.  If there is a problem we will make it right one the spot.  Once you are satisified your unit is as described we will then complete the transactions paperwork as well as on-line. I do require that we both leave feedback at the time of delivery as a part of the delivery process. You will then be on your way home in you new RV!

Keep in mind I have a Texas dealers license and I am bonded for your protection (I would not buy a vehicle from anyone on the internet that is not).  This protects you as a buyer as well as enables me to provide you with a temporary license plate that is good for 21 business days (appx. 30 days).
